Tool Development

An EIA is a process of identifying, assessing and reporting environmental impacts associated with a project/activity (e.g. what is the impact on the environment if we build this factory here).

Tools are developed in conjunction with clients and domain experts. The methodology includes a stepwise process:

(1) Consider beneficiaries and stakeholders,
(2) Identify required tools,
(3) Identify the categories/criteria,
(4) Craft “essence questions” with topic specialists,
(5) Develop draft tool,
(6) Test internally and refine,
(7) Workshop and refine, and
(8) Deploy.

If you would like to utilize one of the existing tools, or would like assistance in designing and developing your own customized tool, please contact us.
