Women in Water “Amakhosazana Amanzi”
You ask “Who is Unathi Jack?” Unathi is a lady who joined Emanti soon after achieving her M-Tech and has worked on many projects, as team member and team leader, with diligence. She has earned great trust within the organization and has earned the same trust from our clients in the water sector, and other sector stakeholders she meets in the course of her work.
Besides the technical skills she continuously develops in the water engineering field, she has a vibrant personality that has proved a great asset to Emanti. She has a unique way of engaging with people which enables her to convey the correct messages even when she is aware that the recipients may not find that message palatable. She has developed the ability to convey information in a manner that creates an atmosphere where all feel free to express their views, and the final result is an appreciation of differences and consensus of opinion.
Unathi has firm principles which she strongly adheres to and has courage to stand firm under all circumstances. She is both conscientious and compassionate and this has earned her respect and friendships with all people she engages with, including her colleagues, Emanti clients and other stakeholders in the water sector. What a pleasure it is to be in her company when engaging with people to influence a change for improvement. She is a strong advocate of utilising the many change management tools that she has assisted in developing.
We, as Emanti and as her friends, are excited by the news that the WRC have acknowledged Unathi’s achievements through the publication “Amakhosazana Amanzi”.
Keep flying higher and higher Unathi.
